57: (Un)Happy New Year!

JANUARY

I hadn’t planned to spend New Year in London but a week before Christmas (and days before my birthday) I received a call from the Metropolitan Police asking if they could come round to collect my statement on New Year’s Eve.

56: Three Strikes?

NOVEMBER

I’m back! Another two months or so down the line and still not a single piece of communication from the police – this is ludicrous. How are we meant to feel safe and protected?

55: Sinner Strikes Again

SEPTEMBER

It’s now September, two months since the arrest and still not a thing from the police. I’ve lost faith in the whole justice system, I truly have.

54: An Update Please?

It’s been nearly a month since David was arrested and we’re still waiting for our statements to be taken. I understand that things take time but surely a statement should be taken as soon as a crime is reported?

Do you remember how David wore and spoke about new boots? Well it turns out that he stole them from someone.

52: Sting Day

This is quite possibly the hardest post for me to write. Everything else has been so free flowing and I haven’t thought about what to write, but this one feels different. It feels like the beginning of the end and after today my mindset is so… different.

I’ve tried my damnedest to get a good night’s rest before tomorrow, but how can I? This is quite possibly the scariest thing I’ve ever done and it was so hard for me to leave home and come to Uni that I deferred twice!
